CYBILL SHEPHERD TO SUPPORT THE ARTS WITH A “MEET AND GREET” AT THE LAGUNA BEACH FESTIVAL OF ARTS & PAGEANT OF THE MASTERS ON MONDAY, JULY 12 AT 7:15PM
Laguna Beach, CA (July 5, 2010) – The Laguna Beach Festival of Arts/Pageant of the Masters is happy to announce the gracious support of icon Cybill Shepherd, who plans to attend the Pageant of the Masters the evening of Monday, July 12, where she will greet attendees, artists and volunteers from 7:15-8:15pm on the center green. We will accommodate as many people as possible to meet Cybill during that hour.
“Cybill Shepherd has always been an outspoken supporter of the arts, so we’re excited to welcome her and introduce her to all the dedicated volunteers and artists who make the Festival and the Pageant possible each year,” said Sharbie Higuchi, Director of PR and Marketing for the Festival of Arts.
From wholesome beauty queen to captivating cover girl, from heartbreaking movie star to one of television’s most beloved comediennes, Ms. Shepherd has for years been adored for her beauty and respected for her bold honesty. Her visit to the Pageant of the Masters and Festival of Arts will be a delight to many.
Ms. Shepherd made her mark with such notable roles as Jacy in The Last Picture Show, opposite Bruce Willis in TV’s Moonlighting and her Golden Globe-winning self-titled show Cybill. Ms. Shepherd’s upcoming projects include the Lifetime film The Client List with Jennifer Love Hewitt airing July 19th and a guest-starring role on the Lifetime original series Drop Dead Diva, set to air August 1st.
Pageant tickets cost $15-$100 (depending on seat location and night of the week); gala benefit performance on August 28, 2010 costs $50-$350. From July 7 through August 31, 2010, a Pageant of the Masters ticket also entitles you to free admission to The Festival of Arts – California’s Premier Fine Art Show (closed August 28 at 2 p.m. for a fundraising event). This summer’s Pageant ticket is more valuable than ever. It gives the ticket holder an “all access” pass to many of the Festival of Arts special events.
